I would start now. I think that the sooner you start the better and the easier it will be. Train them now to like the outside and all different weather conditions and they'll most likely be fine with any they come across. I got Blazer this past July and it was cool and rainy his entire first week here but we were still outside for potty every 1/2 hour that first day! We just had our first snow fall here and it didn't bother him at all.
