I only sell my pups locally and keep track of them. so is very, very important that you both meet the breeder a good breeder is going to become part of your life, I have built great relationships with my puppy parents, specially I doggy sit my puppies when they go on vacations, and they know they can always call me with any concerns.. best of luck in your search. |
While I see your logic my wife has been talking about this for over 2 years and I am seriously considering buying one, this is not just a "spur of the moment" idea but something that has been researched. I like to be spontaneous in my marriage and therefore want to surprise her, so her meeting the breeder is not possible.
I travel for business on a weekly basis and she is alone during the week, therefore this would be an ideal idea so she can't spend her her attention and time toward the puppy. Her sister already has one and she absolutely loves it and sometimes we house sit it when her sister is away.
Anyhow, I will do more research about breeders, what would you say is a fair price for a puppy?
Thanks for the advice thus far.
