Default New to forum..My baby just had FHO surg!

Ok so I just wrote a really long winded story for you guys and then accidently erased it all!! So I'll make it shorter lol

My little guys name is Sebi (short for Sebastian) he's 11 months old and just hit 3lbs this month! He means the absolute world to me! Just last week he was hurt while my daugter was having her birthday slumber party..All the girls decided to pile up on the bed and hide from Sebi so here he comes running around the corner ready to play and one of the girls falls on him! My heart sinks and I went into panic mode...my mom was there to stay with the girls (thank god) so me and my boyfriend rush off to the ER..after some x rays and pain meds we leave and prepare for surgery on Tues (this happened Sat).

So here we are a week after surgery and things are going very well...he walks on his leg just fine except when he is standing still he will lift it. We get the stitches out on Thurs and the vet will do some additional X-rays. So here is where my worry is...What if it didn't heal correctly? What if he continues to have hip problems for the rest of his life? I feel so much guilt he is such a happy, hyper, loving little guy...I can't believe I let this happen. Have any of you gone through with a FHO? If so how has your experience been? Are things back to normal? I appreciate any and all replies. Thanks so much!!
