I feel horrible for you....loyality to a job is unappreciated in this day and time. And it is going to get so much worse now. With the implementation of the new health care mandate, companies have already started laying people off because of the cost of insurance to the company. Companies are laying off and even closing their doors. Employees that have been with companies for a long period of time, are not looked at as "a loyal, productive employee", but rather an "employee that is at the top of a pay scale"....we can lay off 12 top of the pay scale employees, or we can lay off 30 middle and lower pay grade employees......" They will choose what is most beneficial to the company. So so sad...... Everyone I know that has been laid off, say they are better off for it....they find new ways to make ends meet and some are forced into doing things they had just kinda been thinking they might enjoy getting started in, but were fearful to take that step. I am praying this will open up a whole new world to you, one you sincerely enjoy doing and can be such a successful transition for you!
