I don't think a young puppy likes topknots or clothing. Most pups just want to run around and have fun. With a long haired dog they have to be trained to accept grooming as any dog should be. Gracie never wore a bow as a young puppy but I did put grooming bands in to keep her hair out of her eyes. It didn't take much to teach her. When she found that her sweaters made her more comfortable she was quite accepting of them. But I didn't make her wear anything that was constricting or that would make her uncomfortable. |
