Clyde my oldest Yorkshire terrier (3) was pointing, intently staring, shaking, and sometimes barking at this old record player we brought into the house. He was so intently starting at it, that we decided to investigate! What do you know, there was a little mouse behind living inside the stereo!
Thankfully Clyde has been well trained enough to be able to call him off from prey, and so he didn't attack the mouse (though I know he wanted to chase it) and he didn't go anywhere near it after he showed us where it was.
I'm so happy to have these little terriers in my life! I would have never known that there was a mouse living in my house if it weren't for Clyde lol.
Has anyone else had any funny experiences of your dog trying to show or tell you something that was hiding in the house?
The only problem is that the mouse got away >.< ... so we will be spending the next couple of days trying to locate where it is hiding! |
