Update on the Melbourne yorkie:
He was actually given to the rescue because he needed a dental real bad. The shelter never mentioned anything about "having bites all over". But I do think the shelter was totally indifferent to the condition of this poor baby. Today I got a message from the rescue foster parent and she said that "He was extremely dirty and matted and had feces stuck to him when I picked him up....I had no choice but to shave him so I could give him a bath"
How could they not bathe him at the shelter!
But we know he is safe now at a foster home and he is at the vet as we speak having a full checkup and a dental
