At after 23 years, you probably knew that company and its ways better than anybody. I'm sure sorry to hear of your job loss. But some employers now days really do appreciate the stability of an older, settled worker. My prayers are with you as you start looking and I hope you find a company that will realize what it is getting in you very, very soon.
