 How long after 1st heat - spay??
I had an appointment on November 5, for Emy to be spayed, I started
watching her and my gut told me to cancel the spay..so I did, and then
(2) days later she is swollen and licking...so obviously she is coming
into heat..she is 7 1/2 months, I was hoping to beat the heat, but I am
glad I cancelled the appointment, cause didn't want her to get spayed
while in heat...so I have read that you have to wait 6 weeks after a heat
to spay allowing her body, swelling and hormones to get back to normal...does anyone have any experience with this? If so how long did you wait after
heat to get spayed...? |
