Hello everyone!

I just got a check from Pet Care reimbursing me for $500 (max limit for dog bites)! yay! The total I paid for Oakley's surgery was $606.16. I turned in the claim form via fax on Jan. 18 and they cut me a check on Jan. 24, which I just received today on Jan. 30.

I will probably stick with the insurance until Oakley turns 1. But not sure about my beagle - he's turning 1 on March 9 and he's very active, so still considering whether to keep his policy.

I hope this helps you all decide on whether or not to get pet insurance and which company to go with.
