My little boy is 3 years old today. We took him on a walk around a local lake trail. He loves the dirt and kicking up the leaves. He had a ball leaving his signature on selected leaves, twigs and trees. After about a mile he wanted back and led the way even when turns were involved. I was impressed. He met some new dog friends and even a cute little girl yorkie that was just his size. Once we got home I gave him a bath. Not his favorite initially but he usually just lays down in the sink and loves having the warm water spray back and forth on his back, then into a freshly spun warm towel and blotted dry before the blow dry. The blow dryer is his favorite. A little dinner and a petrodex chew and he's in a "Birthday Coma." Once he heard the click of the camera he opened his eyes. Enjoy.
