I wish all dogs loved their bath like Tibbe does. He'll come to me when I say "let's get a bath!". Jilly, my last Yorkie, was like Joel - she detested the water and I think she knew I loved her with all my heart but that once every 2 weeks I'm convinced she thought I tried to
do her in for some reason or other!
She would hide and go stiff when I picked her up, give me the stink eye. I was on her hate list until the bathing, drying, brushing all done and then she forgave me for my temporary insanity and we were best buds again.
I'll bet Joel was really relieved to learn it really wasn't bath day!
