Do you understand how to read a pedigree? You might want to ask to see the pedigree and find out about the history of the line and how genetically sound it is. Even show dogs can have unstable genetic backgrounds.
I actually asked her this question on Facebook, where we've been communicating and she says they don't do any genetic testing. She said they just base their breeding on the health if the parents. Apparently vets don't do these kinds of tests. Maybe it's a little different here in Mexico. I know the vet I take my baby had to find a lab that would run a Snap test on my little one, since heart worm doesn't exist here, at least not in Guadalajara. Should I be worried or wary? I asked to see the puppy's pedigree. I'll post it if I get it. I know she uses Brazilian lines (Shilayork) i think is The kennel name and Quoccles (an Italian line). One if her doggies was from the Guemart line. But other than that, I'm not too sure.
