the lay over is 1 1/2 hours. The gates are really a long walk and to walk to us and then go back through customs and walk back to her gate would be so close. I do not want to think of the drama if she misses her connecting flight.
I called the airlines and they are not any help. I was told to buy a refundable ticket, use it to get to her gate, then refund the ticket. I not so sure about that. I am thinking of just buying (having dd pay for it) the cheapest ticket that I can and use that to get to the gate.
