You have not gotten your pup yet? Honestly if there was anything at all that I could say to you to make you change your mind I surely would. I can't tell you how large and possibly costly this gamble is that your taking...I suggest you spend the day reading all the links and threads about WHY you shouldn't purchase a dog from a pet store...

Puppy mill pups (this is what your purchasing) more times than not are riddled with hereditary diseases and conditions...Veterinarian care often times exceeds what the average person can afford.

My Miss Mini is 8 years old, as of 3 weeks ago, I have been to the vet 93 times, Miss Mini has been hospitalized more times than I can count, and we have spent well over $30,000 on her care, I am not in the least exaggerating here; infact, I'm definitely understating...she has had 3 major surgeries, needs 2 more that I am aware of, has to have shots every 2 weeks, pepcid daily and sucralfate daily, requires steroids and antibiotics constantly. Let me just add one other thing, I am not in the least an over reactor, I have been scolded more than once for waiting to bring Miss Mini in...I have since given up trying to care for her ailments myself and upon symptomatic behaviors I take her right in.

When you buy from pet stores unknowingly you are a victim of treacherous, heartless money hungry soulless pieces of crap; when you purchase from a pet store knowing the information you now know...you are doing a disservice to many more puppies, the movement to stop these people from there cruel and inhumane, unethical treatment of animals...PLEASE RECONSIDER.

P.S. I am on my way to the Emergency Vet that I can't afford because Miss Mini is feverish, nauseated and lethargic...stay tuned for more details...
