Default Worried need your opinion

As many of you have read my past posts my little 12 year old guy has a history of pancreatitis. I know that "stretching" is one of the signs of an attack. I have noticed for the pasr 2 or 3 days when he first gets up from sleeping or napping he stretches and scoops his tummy across the carpet, which he sometimes does after being groomed, but has not been groomed lately.

How do I know the difference between stretching because he just woke up and it is just a normal "stretch And a stretch where he is trying to relieve abdominal pain due to attack of pancreatitis? He has not had any other symptoms. The only time I have noticed the stretching is when he first gets up from rest.

Thanks!
