We're Texan - have to have giblet gravy - brown gravy just won't do. And it is not Thanksgiving without the cranberry sauce - even that awful congealed log with the can marks in it is better than nothing! We never have fishy items at Thanksgiving on our table. I don't think my Great Grandfather liked fish at holidays so the tradition stuck.
