Well, legally a dog is a possession. That is the very reason people are allowed to inflict pain on their "possession" in order to satisfy their own selfish ambitions. They can make an animal look foolish and laugh about it because it is entertaining to them. It's a level of narcissism that seems to be increasing in this country.
Look at the dogs that come into the shelters that were sold to people as a pocketbook pet but they grew too large. The poor dogs are just so hopeless looking. But the fashion diva doesn't want that kind of dog because it did not turn out as planned. |
