Such a terrible thing to do to a big old wonerful, loyal guy - just leave him out there waiting, wondering, sad and alone for years until he dies when he was too shut down to try to trust again on his own without. He needed some emotional rehab showing him how to love and live again. Even in a movie it was awful to me to send that message this day and time.
