I am very sorry for your loss. When looking for a pup and a breeder you want to make sure the breeder does not use any words like teacup, miniature and super tiny, you want to make sure the mother and father of the pups have genetic testing and are free of LP, make sure they are AKC registered that you can see where the pups are being raised, that the breeder is not breeding a lot of dogs at one time and is not breeding mixes. Also make sure that the breeder is not breeding a mother dog under 5 pounds. Good luck in your search and I hope you find a healthy pup.
