I agree you have lots of homework to do.... It wont be easy but I'm sure your little guy is worth it. In my opinion establishing the pack leader role is very important when it comes to aggression issues.
I never had a feeding issue so I really hope that your trainer can give you the tools needed to help you and your pup before thing take a turn for the worse. (not sure that the bitting isn't already the worse)
