Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.
Use ice for only 15 mins. at a time, off 15 or so, back on for 15 and so on. Use an Ace Bandage, NOT TOO TIGHT, just gently rolled onto the ankle/foot and secured. Elevate that lower leg on pillows above the level of your heart.
