He's feisty as can be, and "nips" a lot (typical puppy).
My Male Sneakers has got his attention with a couple firm bites to the back of his neck, and Ickey is quite well behaved around him, however...
Becca is beside herself. Ickey senses her subordination to Sneakers, and pushes her constantly, following her around, jumping up nipping at her ankles, just a TOTAL pest. Becca doesn't often "ask" to be picked up, but recently I've had her in my lap more than she's been on the floor.
Understand please, that my two residents completely respect that Ickey is a puppy, and, neither have "brought blood" when Ickey became intolerable. I've been encouraging Becca to be more forceful with him, but, she is a female, and probably thinks (to a point) that Ickey is her puppy, and a Male. So she may expect a rather dominant roll from him, and is naturally more tolerant.
Given my "Pack" mentality, I don't interfere when they are disciplining Ickey. Both Sneakers and Becca must understand that they have my consistent support. Ickey is the new kid on the block, and must accept that at some point.
