I agree. Louie is starting to understand that when he goes outside he gets a treat when he come in. He comes in and gets really excited. The problem is, he hasnt yet realized that he only gets the treat if he went potty. 90% of the time we take him out, he will go, but the other 10% that he doesnt need to go, he comes in still looking for his treat. It's only a matter of time until he fully grasps it though. Sometimes I try to give him the treat outside right after he goes just to show him exactly why he's getting the treat but if he drops it, sometimes its hard to find for him if its at night. |
