Jumped right into the bathtub with me!!
Does anyone else's Yorkie go absolutely crazy when you're in the bathtub? I have had Rylee for probably going on 3 weeks now, she is good and settled in... following me where ever I go... If I get up out of bed, she will awaken from her sleep and even if I just make 3 steps she is behind me the whole way and the whole way back to bed.. when she see's me lay down she is up on the side of the bed, pawing, ready to go back to sleep.
So, this evening I was in the bath tub, and of course she was right there watching... I have a big garden tub.. with a lower step up.. I kept watching her and she was just standing there on two feet, two feet on the step.. because of the slick texture of the step she couldnt get up on it because she kept sliding..
Well, she started going nuts, LOL!
Barking and trying to get up there...I kept telling her no, no Rylee this is Mommy's bath.... she was not having it... so she gets mad, finds the toilet paper, and I know what kind of mess that was gonna be.. she listens good though... my quick "Ahht!" made her stop dead in her tracks... so I guess she was fed up with me telling her no.
She went all the way to the other side of the bathtub, took a run 'n go...
and jumped right into the tub with me... there we sat, having a bubble bath together... my fiance was amazed
.. no dog we've ever had has even wanted to be anywhere close to the bathtub and maybe even ran when they heard the word bath.. this was something I just HAD to share! ...
Needless to say... I had to get out, and Rylee got that bath she was begging for!! HAHA!
