I would avoid those who breed for very tiny size like the plague if you want to avoid heartache, a suffering pet and endless vet visits, all of which are fairly routine with the purchase of a tiny dog from an unknown breeder on the internet. Unless I knew the breeder for an unquestioned, sterling reputation in the breed, and knew she bred only to enhance the breed with emphasis on health, temperament and conformation to AKC breed standards, with her breeders health-tested in the several suggested areas for suitability for breeding, I would not buy a dog sight unseen over the internet. The website belies all of those things I would require in a breeder, the first of which would be not breeding a bitch of less than 5 lbs. and/or breeding with the express idea of producing offspring that will stay tiny. Red flags on this one!
