Hi there. I have about the same size yard as you do. I also have a sheltie/mix older dog. I discovered there were places in our fence that came up off the ground in some spots. Actually...it was where the neighbors wood,privacy fence meets our chain link fence. Anyway, I just went to the hardware store and got several 2x4's. This solved my problem very well.

Your issue sounds a tad different. I would actually try chicken wire, too. I think that would work pretty well.

I let Mandie run as she pleases outside because she loves chasing her big brother. However, I'm always out there with her and she is always "close" as I watch the skies for birds of prey.
