Well obvi a point and shoot would be cost efficient but at the same time, might not get the kind of shots I need. I need something that snaps photos very quickly because my dogs are little movers and shakers lol. Also would like to take shots of them in action as well. Size isn't too much of an issue cause I don't plan on traveling or anything with it. I know a lot of people like point and shoots cause they typically are lightweight and very easy to carry around.

Was looking at a DSLR, specifically the Nikon D3200, and I like the fact that it's not overly expensive. Plus it records in Full HD so I can even get pictures from the movies and the quality of the picture would still be good. I also could get a wireless adapter so I can just send my pictures to my phone or tablet which is helpful, but not something I would absolutely need. Just an added perk.
