Thank you for all the responses. We are moving next year anyway. We are in the process of house hunting. Since I am retiring I am home alot unless I am on appointments. I started only letting them out when the children are in school and when they are out and the dogs need to go, I started just sitting out with them. i haven't seen anything but I'm a constant presence now. The weather is starting to get cold so they will be inside majority of the time . I am just so upset about how the dogs demeanors changed. I can't even begin to explain how docile they were. They never barked except to get your attention and definitely did not growl. They have been socialized continuously with people and animals to the point that they use to go to work with me. When she growled, I was holding her. I actually jumped I was so shocked. The great thing is they are still good with my children and when we go out to the vets, walking, petsmart, grooming, etc. they still act the same. It's just when those particular children are around the dogs go nuts. I know what children it is by the dogs reaction. They don't act that way with all children.
I'm going to put a camera up. I have a few witnesses also. A parent did tell me her child thought they were playing when they hit the fence and the dogs bark and chase them. The children are between the ages of 5-11.
