Some ears take up to a year to stand, or you can take up to the first year to "help" them stand, if they don't on their own.
Most pups I know have their ears fully upright by 6 months.
Blazer has floppy ears and I love it, he is only 5 months old, though, but I love the puppy face he has with floppy ears. Sometimes his ears will stand up, but not often anymore now that his hair is longer again.
