Stay away from Nutro Max too. It's not one of their better quality foods.
The store I buy from recommends Horizon and Fromm foods. We are feeding Horizon Legacy and are very happy with it.
If you are going to continue buying from the store you currently use, I would try to find a grain free food, since you dog has itchies, to see if that helps. Personally, I would stay away from anything made by Diamond or anything that Diamond manufactures for other companies. Good luck on your search for a better food.
