Lisaly is a great amateur photographer! She really knows her camera.

I have a Nikon D200. But as a budding wannabe good photographer, here is what I suggest for trying to get good shots in a "controlled" environment;think in your house or your back yard.

1) Buy a tripod !!! Then there is no camera shake
2) Get any camera that allows you to a) time delay the photograph and b) take multiple shots, and c) has a feature that you can set that takes a picture every 1/2/3/15 seconds what ever.

Now I am not sure but the features of list 2 might mean you need to go up to a DSLR.

Most of my photos I post on here are taken by hubby with a Nikon D300 a few are my shots with the D200.

Recently though I've been having fun with my video camera and my GoPro video camera, so I've been getting lots of videos, and sometimes use either one to snap a photo.
