Default flea medication causing nervous tremor--we're scared!

New to the forum, sorry if I'm double-posting but I'm desperate to know if my Chicalina is OK. Administered drops last night, she developed an involuntary twitch across her back shortly thereafter. It spans the area just below her shoulders. She's trying to bite at the area, it seems out of annoyance as opposed to pain. She ate her supper, is drinking water, normal urine, dark/oily bowel movement.

Should she see her vet? Do I wait a few days to see if it goes away?

I've resisted poisonous treatments ever since heartworm meds twice made her sick (hospitalized). But my vet insisted I give her a flea treatment because fleas were so bad in this area this year and I spotted one on her recently.
