Personally I would go back to square one and get him on a schedule..that way you can gage when he needs to go. Is he crate trained? I have found that that is the easiest way to go along with getting him on a feeding/potty schedule. I'm no expert as mine are NOW potty trained, but it did take me almost a year to get that accomplished. Someone here with more experience will pipe in I'm sure and give you more pointers.

I'm sorry for the loss of your other yorkie...they always capture a piece of our hearts that remains theirs for a life time.
