You don't need a disinfectant if it's urine, urine is sterile, no bacteria in it unless your dog has a bladder infection. The ingredient in urine that causes the smell and the color is the protein and Nature’s Miracle has enzymes that “eat” the protein. Poop is another matter; you would want to disinfect that if it smears.
