No it is not to late to get that ear up. Shave the floppy ear and tape his ear for a week. Take the tape off and access the ear. If it falls immediately, cut moleskin or paperbag to the shape of the inner ear and retape ear to stand again. If it stays up for a few days before falling, shave again and retape for another week and just continue to do this..

Each time you retape, shave that ear. It may take a month but if you are persistant it should stand. I once had a vet tell me you can get ears to stand up to one year of age.
