Apple heads are a definate NO-No in Yorkies....that is NOT breed standard. Read the standard and see what a Yorkies head is supposed to be. Same with noses. (Now if you are just looking to buy you a Yorkie pet and NOT for breeding, and you like the more Chihuahua looking Yorkie, then I guess it is OK to purchase one like that that you think is adorable...but NOT for breeding!) If you are getting a dog to be used for breeding, you need to be very familiar with pedigrees.....know what you should be breeding to hit the standard. I personally adore the heads and faces of the Durrer line .....what are the lines this breeder has? After you get familiar with which type YOU like, then you go for those dogs that exemplify those characteristics. Take your time.....get it right......
