As for sleeping through the night I had really good luck by making sure Blazer went potty before bed then covering his kennel at bedtime. The first couple of weeks I had him in a downstairs bathroom so it was dark and quiet but the first couple of nights he'd wake up once to potty. I treated him like I did my kids when they would wake at night- no play, just potty then back to bed. After I moved the kennel next to my bed Blazer started sleeping longer in the morning, which was awesome! He was sleeping through the night after having him at home only two nights, it was great! |
I guess I'll have to wait and see...I'll try to sell the soft-crate on Craigslist or something. You are Oh-So lucky that he was so good! I have to get up early for work/class so I'm trying hard to get him on that schedule "/ he's a little stubborn though so it'll take some time
