What is the difference between a 7F and a 7FC blade, please? Same for the 4F and I see a 4FC |
You want to get the blades w/the 'F' or 'FC' after the #. W/out the 'F' or 'FC', it's a skip tooth blade. They're mostly used for terrier cuts & to cut through stubborn mats. Also used for blending. You have to be very careful w/a skip tooth blade, as the skin can get caught between the blade if you don't know what you're doing.
I think Andis uses FC 'finished cut' which is the same as F, 'finish' which Oster uses.
