Yes it is worth it along with Microchipping (in my opinion), I have Sophie Kate done with both.
Hopefully if she were ever lost someone would look for her owner. Having the QR along with Microchipping is a benefit in my opinion, as mentioned most people have smartphone and maybe they would scan the tag.
I should add that I also have a tag with her name and my cell phone number. I guess my thoughts are you cannot have to many ways to identify her owner.
