I am sorry for your sweet boy and your family. Georgie was born with a congenital malformation in his spine and we didn't know until he was 6. I don't know the answer I would think only a specialist would know if he could live a normal life. I will tell you the specialist we took Georgie to is located in Annapolis Junction MD and they are amazing! Georgie wasn't walking pre-surgery and now runs and jumps. My suggestion is call the specialist below and get him in for a consult. To me the fact that he is moving his little paws is a positive sign and I would do everything I could to help him recover if not fully, enough to have a good quality of life.
