You might consider doing a consultation with a veterinarian who is board certified in nutrition. I would never attempt to feed a dog with this problem without expert guidance. Nutrition is the single most important management of this disorder from what I understand. One of our members LadyJane is well versed in this disease and she had a nutritional consult for her dog Cookie who is now doing excellently on her home cooked diet.
