I would go out and get the book how to train your dog in 7 days.

How to Housebreak Your Dog in 7 Days (Revised):...
I would not allow him to have run of the house. I would have a xpen. Or confine him to the kitchen and put up gates. I hope this helps. There is a lot of ideas if you search the YT site also. Good luck and keep us updated
