Hi, you want to wait long enough so that they have some adult teeth, but not too long so that marking is firmly established. I think around 7 months is fine for small breeds. Yorkies usually don't lose all their teeth on their own, so having the baby teeth removed at the same time as neutering is a good idea. I also had a microchip inserted at the same time, they are only about $30.00, so it's a great value, and you don't have to worry about it hurting them.
