OMG please please tell your friend not to send her the money I was also almost scammed! I'm so embarrassed to say that I almost did the same thing. these people pray on people like us! I was also talking to some one who gave me this whole story on how she wanted to give her dog a loving home, but couldn't cause she was leaving to Africa! then I saw the show on 20/20 where people from Africa scam people for their money. Also on another note I'm from the Rio Grande Valley which is on the tip of Texas and I live 10 minutes away from Mcallen, TX and it's funny that the lady's name is Letty Valdez cause that is a news anchor lady from channel 5 from Mcallen tx so I guess they just took that info from the internet to make that story they told you. so please what ever you do talk your friend out of it.
