I trained Gracie to potty on the pads using treats, then I had to get her out of wanting a treat every time she went. I tried just over praising her with a high pitched voice and lots of love but she is just too smart. She would walk right up to the treat jar and tap on it with her paws, like she was playing the drums, untill I gave her one. I have always given her a little piece of Beggin Strips, Bacon & Cheese flavor. Only once a day, if she has been a good girl.
She still plays the drums on the floor when she sees me getting her a treat!
