I'll be glad to post a pic when I get home from work...I have light maple (that matches my cabinets) Pergo and was installed when I built my house....7 years ago. It's in my kitchen and hall and foyer. I have the large block ceramic tile in my bathrooms. I live my kitchen. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I tried the key test before we decided on it..you have to really gouge the stuff to get it to scratch...and I've dropped glasses before and they bounced! Didn't break. I've had one yorkie on it since May of last year and two since August of last year...they haven't done any damage. They are two boys that love to chase each other too...it's funny watching them trying to round the corner to the bedroom! I usually give them a small handful of cherrios as a treat and I just throw the out in the kitchen and watch them scramble for them. I have no negative comments on the laminate at all...I've been pleased and would do the same again.
