I am thinking of giving my cats specifically, 14 year old Maine Coon Mika, a more raw based diet.
Since it is a cat I am asking about I did not put it into the nutrition section. But if an admin. feels this is better off their please move
They are currently eating FROMM Salmon a la Veg kibble available 24/7 for the 2 cats and THK Prowl once daily as a treat normally. Turkey and her do not get along for an extended period of time. Mika has always been a wet food junky. The last 1-2 months Mika has been getting much more vocal about getting her wet food so she has been getting it at least twice a day and have become a counter/table surfer which she has never been before. She will still nibble on the kibble but wants wet food all the time

. And I want to make her the happiest she can be. Tallulah the other cat does not do well on a large amount of wet food daily- She ends up with bathroom issues and has very long hair :yuck:
She is healthy other than some arthritis- Now getting Vit E and Fish Oil daily.
Does anyone have any great recommendations for raw or dehydrated type cat foods? I would prefer to give her more fish since she has become so full of herself since I started to give her fish oil daily. She would eat canned tuna, cod, salmon, chicken, etc raw everyday but I want her to get a balanced diet and me making it daily for her daily is not an option for me.
Grandma Lucy's is definatley one I am looking into I just wish it was available in more than 3 pounds at a time.
