I agree - pet theft so often ties in with a bad economy! She did a bit on her show yesterday about return of pets temporarily lost due to Hurricane Sandy. This Jane lady is a total dog lover/animal-lover and would probably go with your story if you could get the idea through to her personally; so work on her producers and if you can tie it to a nationwide problem, such as a little-known failing of the travel industry to train employees how to keep pets safe or the economy or something, maybe it could give you a better chance of getting on. It would be interesting to have early-on asked that housekeeper what training she had about pet safety before she went into your room that day Bengi got out.
