Thank you for thinking of me. Like most of Long Island, most of the places in the town that I live in don't have power. Our development has underground lines, so we are very lucky. Most of the schools on Long Island still are closed. The high school that I work in has power, but the middle school is still out. They did the transportation runs yesterday, and the roads are not safe, so we are closed until Monday. We sustained damage, but I can't complain. I feel so bad for all of the loss, sacrifices that people are making, and the tragedies.
